How long does it take to ship an umbrella after I have paid for it?

It takes between 1-3 days after your order is received (and payment verified) for us to ship your order. International orders have longer postage times depending upon the destination.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, please email us at [email protected] to get a quote on postage to your country, but you will not be able to purchase via the web site - you must contact us via email to tell us what umbrellas you require.

Can I pick-up my order?

Dolly’s Brollys is based in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty. We allow pickups by appointment only. Please ring our Geoff or Janine on 09 444 6444 to arrange a pickup date/time.

What umbrellas do you have in stock?

Dolly’s Brollys usually have all umbrellas shown on the web site in stock. However if there is a delay in your payment the item that you requested could go out of stock (as orders are not picked until payment is received). For this reason please make sure you provide your email address and phone number with your order so you can be contacted should there be any delay in supplying your order.

Can you supply umbrellas in different colors or designs to that on the web site?

If you have a particular request, please email us. We can order umbrellas that we do not usually have in stock. As these items come from overseas there would be a delay in shipping them. You may also be required to pay for them proforma (payment in advance). Contact us to find out more.

What options do I have for payment?

All payments through this website are processed through one of the following options:

  • Direct Debit to our bank account
  • Cheque
  • Cash (if you are picking up the item in person)
  • Credit Card or Debit Card by on-line transaction processing

What happens after payment?

Once your payment is complete, we will email you a confirmation of your order. Dolly’s Brollys will send your goods to you with an itemised receipt.

How is postage or shipping calculated?

We do not currently supply our products via the NZ Postal Service all items are delivered by courier with a fixed charge Nationwide of $10.95 inc GST (per order).

What is your refund policy?

Umbrellas are offered with a 30 day exchange if the goods are damaged upon arrival, or the item has a manufacturing defect. Returns are not allowed on a "change of mind" basis. Dolly’s Brollys will cover postage costs (by supplying a courier ticket by mail). Some items do have an additional manufacturer frame guarantee, and if so, the umbrella comes with an additional warranty tag. This frame guarantee is limited to 12 months, and does not include misuse or strong wind damage, or failure due to rusted components. If you are returning an umbrella for an extended warranty claim (ie after the 30 day exchange period) then you are responsible for paying the shipping costs to return the umbrella to us.

What are your normal hours of business?

Our website is operational 24 hours a day, 365 days a year

The human side of our operation is a little more restricted we will answer the phone from 8.30am till 5.30pm Monday to Friday, and any other time we are there!
